MIDI CC Faders
MIDI CC Faders send MIDI Control Change messages and can be oriented horizontally or vertically. A single fader can control multiple MIDI CC parameters at once by adding multiple MIDI CC actions to its macro.
Add a Fader to Your Grid
Step 1: Enter Edit Mode
Tap Edit in the toolbar.
Step 2: Open Layout
Tap Layout and merge or clear slots to create space for the fader.
Step 3: Insert the Fader
Tap the empty slot, select Add, then pick Fader.
Inspector Settings
Macro Section
Configure the default MIDI CC Action parameters (CC number and Channel). Add multiple MIDI CC actions to control several MIDI controllers from a single fader.
Style Presets Section
Choose from 11 predefined fader color styles.
Cap Text Section
Set the font size, color, and visibility of text displayed on the fader cap.
Cap Section
Configure the cap's type, size, color, transparency, border, and visibility.
Position Indicator Section
Adjust the appearance of the position indicator line that shows the fader's current value.
Pre and Post Cap Rail Sections
Set the visual attributes of the rails above and below the cap. Cap Gap Style controls padding between the cap and rail: No Gap, Edge-To-Edge, or Extra Spacing.
Fader Title Section
Configure visibility, text content, and color of the title at the top of the fader. Optionally display the fader's current value.
Background Section
Set fill type, gradient, color, and transparency for the fader background.
Border Section
Adjust the visibility, color, and width of the fader's border.
Effects Section
Enable and configure shadow and glow effects.
Options Section
- Relative To Finger — The fader cap moves relative to your finger's motion instead of jumping to the touch position.
- Reacts to Cap Touch Only — The fader responds only when you touch the cap directly.
- Enable Horizontal Orientation — Switch between vertical and horizontal orientation.
Snapshots Section
Link the fader to a Snapshots object to save and recall fader values. See the Snapshots article for details.
Pro Tip: In Edit Mode the fader stays fixed at 50% so you can change settings without accidental adjustments. Exiting Edit Mode restores the previous value or the current value reported by your DAW.
