Snapshots
advancedSave and recall fader, pad, and XY pad values across up to 16 snapshot groups per grid.
The Snapshots object saves and recalls values for snapshot-enabled objects (faders, latching switches, XY pads, etc.) within a single grid. Each grid supports up to 16 snapshot groups, and each snapshot-enabled object can be linked to up to 3 groups.
Add a Snapshots Object to Your Grid
Step 1: Enter Edit Mode
Tap Edit in the toolbar.
Step 2: Open Layout
Tap Layout and clear or merge slots to create space.
Step 3: Insert the Snapshots Object
Tap the empty slot, select Add, then pick Snapshots.

Style Presets Section
- Style Preset — Set the visual style for the Snapshots object.
Options Section
- Snapshot ID — A unique identifier (1-16) that links this Snapshots object to any snapshot-enabled grid object.
- Number of Pads — Set the number of available snapshot buttons.
- Vertical Layout — Orient the Snapshots object vertically.
- Apply Multi-Color — Assign a distinct color to each button.
Buttons Section
- Button Selector — Choose the button to configure.
- Text — Set the text displayed on the selected button.
- Style Selector — Choose a style for the selected button.
Usage Scenarios
Scenario 1: Individual Fader Control
Control 8 faders independently, each with its own snapshots.
- Place a Snapshots object next to each fader.
- In the Inspector, assign a unique Snapshot ID (1-16) to each Snapshots object.
- Open each fader's Snapshots section and link it to the corresponding Snapshots object using Snapshot A.
- Set your fader positions and long-press a snapshot button to save.
- Tap any snapshot button to recall the saved position for that fader.
Scenario 2: Grouped Fader Control
Control 2 groups of 4 faders, each group managed by a single snapshot.
- Add 2 Snapshots objects to your grid.
- Assign distinct Snapshot IDs (e.g., 9 and 10) to each object.
- Link the first group of 4 faders to Snapshot B value 9, and the second group to value 10.
- Set fader positions for each group and long-press a snapshot button on the corresponding Snapshots object to save.
- Tap a snapshot button to recall positions for all faders in that group.
Scenario 3: Control All Faders at Once
Control all 8 faders simultaneously with a single Snapshots object.
- Add 1 Snapshots object to your grid.
- Set its Snapshot ID to 11.
- Link all 8 faders to Snapshot C value 11.
- Arrange all faders and long-press a snapshot button to save.
- Tap the snapshot button to recall positions for all 8 faders.
Scenario 4: Manage Latching Switch States
Save and recall On/Off states across multiple latching switches.
- Add your latching switches to the grid and configure each for its MIDI event.
- Add a Snapshots object and set its Snapshot ID (e.g., 12).
- Open each latching switch's Snapshots section and assign Snapshot A, B, or C to the same Snapshot ID (12).
- Set the switches to your desired configuration and long-press a snapshot button to save.
- Tap the snapshot button to recall the saved states for all linked switches.
- To save additional configurations, repeat steps 4-5 using different snapshot buttons.
