Usage Scenarios

Scenario 1: Individual Fader Control

Control 8 faders independently, each with its own snapshots.

  1. Place a Snapshots object next to each fader.
  2. In the Inspector, assign a unique Snapshot ID (1-16) to each Snapshots object.
  3. Open each fader's Snapshots section and link it to the corresponding Snapshots object using Snapshot A.
  4. Set your fader positions and long-press a snapshot button to save.
  5. Tap any snapshot button to recall the saved position for that fader.

Scenario 2: Grouped Fader Control

Control 2 groups of 4 faders, each group managed by a single snapshot.

  1. Add 2 Snapshots objects to your grid.
  2. Assign distinct Snapshot IDs (e.g., 9 and 10) to each object.
  3. Link the first group of 4 faders to Snapshot B value 9, and the second group to value 10.
  4. Set fader positions for each group and long-press a snapshot button on the corresponding Snapshots object to save.
  5. Tap a snapshot button to recall positions for all faders in that group.

Scenario 3: Control All Faders at Once

Control all 8 faders simultaneously with a single Snapshots object.

  1. Add 1 Snapshots object to your grid.
  2. Set its Snapshot ID to 11.
  3. Link all 8 faders to Snapshot C value 11.
  4. Arrange all faders and long-press a snapshot button to save.
  5. Tap the snapshot button to recall positions for all 8 faders.

Scenario 4: Manage Latching Switch States

Save and recall On/Off states across multiple latching switches.

  1. Add your latching switches to the grid and configure each for its MIDI event.
  2. Add a Snapshots object and set its Snapshot ID (e.g., 12).
  3. Open each latching switch's Snapshots section and assign Snapshot A, B, or C to the same Snapshot ID (12).
  4. Set the switches to your desired configuration and long-press a snapshot button to save.

  6. To save additional configurations, repeat steps 4-5 using different snapshot buttons.
