MetaGrid Pro is more than just an app – it’s the result of a long, personal journey. It represents my quest for the ultimate controller, one that could effortlessly handle everything I do: UX design, coding, communication, content creation, and beyond.

My obsession with workflow optimization started early in my IT career as a localization expert in Poland. I was always on the lookout for ways to streamline processes, creating hundreds of macros to speed up repetitive tasks and make my work more efficient. This journey led me to explore alternative keyboard layouts like Dvorak and Maltron and experiment with innovative devices like the Fingerworks TouchStream, each step bringing me closer to the idea of a workspace that could adapt and respond to my needs intuitively and effectively.

In my music pursuits, I discovered the Euphonix MC Pro – a professional-grade controller that showed me the potential of technology that truly adapts to the user. The MC Pro had the flexibility and precision I craved, but it was designed for a single purpose. It sparked an idea that stayed with me: What if there was a compact, all-in-one controller that could transform to suit any need, whether in music, tech, or design? A controller that would be as essential as my keyboard or mouse?

MetaGrid Pro is that vision come to life. I’ve designed custom grids, each tailored to the specific applications I work with, allowing me to create dedicated setups that adapt to my workflow seamlessly. One of my most powerful workflows leverages grid switching based on Apple Scripts, triggered directly from my computer keyboard. With dedicated keyboard shortcuts, I can change scenes, switch workspaces, and toggle Omnispace, all by triggering Apple Scripts that communicate with MetaServer and MetaGrid Pro. This setup gives me unparalleled control, allowing me to switch contexts and access essential tools across all my applications with a single keystroke.

MetaGrid Pro is now the centerpiece of my setup. With my grids centered around gesture pads, each task becomes a fluid, intuitive motion. Combined with my compact Keychron 40% keyboard, a Logitech gaming mouse, Apple’s trackpad, and a large Apple display, MetaGrid Pro completes a setup that meets my every need – it’s the best workspace I’ve ever had.

But it’s not just about convenience; MetaGrid Pro fundamentally redefines how I work, adaptively molding itself to my tasks and my rhythm. I didn’t just want an app – I wanted a workspace that adapts to me, amplifying my productivity and turning every action into something that feels natural, effortless, and fast.
